Bingo.

I've been so dang busy this summer it isn't even funny.. After my girlfriend went back home on the 1st, life has been no where near the same. I have lost nearly all of my spirt and I just can't seem to get any energy to do my projects after work. Also, we are nearing the half way mark on my friends '85 Truck that we are putting in an '03 3RZ Engine into, so I find myself spending all of my left over time and energy working on that project..

Currently, I have about $200 saved towards a one-thousand dolar axle. I know, I've got a long ways to go. I hope to finish the 3RZ swap in 2 more weeks, then I will be going on a Cruise with my family, so after that, I've got one month to get my :pokinit: together before the Round-Up.

So clearly I will not have as much done as I wanted, plus school will be started soon after the Round-Up, so alot of my plans will be placed on the back burner for a while :rivers: Also, I've decided not to cut up my cab as it's just to clean to mess with, plus I dont have the time for that :headshake:

Anyways, more to come as it does-

Mike, just think  "Little Sluice".  You are gonna have a blast going through there if you wish too.  You know you want to.  Get your truck done and lets do it.  :)

I hate to say it, but if I were in your position, I'd say "Sorry" :dunno: to your buddy and stick to working on your own project.

I helped out a "friend" back in Nov last year, helped him out in a pinch to get his truck back on the road even though I should have been busy working on mine. He promised me that he'd help me out all the time on my truck. After we were done his rig, he was no where to be found, or "busy" with his friends, or "too tired". I finally gave up on relying on him and kicked my butt in gear to work on my own POS. Several months wasted for next to nothing. :tantrum:

Anyways, your trucks looking good, keep up the hard work.

Yeah, I know what you are saying, but he can't do the wiring without my help, and I really want him to be at the Round Up, so I told him that we would have it done by the end of this month, and I think we are still on schedule.

I have some pics of our progress, I just havnt started a project thread on it yet.... BigMike == Slacker

Hey guys,

Sorry no updates!! But I wanted to say that we are getting pretty close on my friends '85 3RZ swap, and then tomorrow (Monday) I start on Marlin's 3RZ Swap, plus the following week (Aug. 5 - 14) I will be gone for two weekends, so I hope to get Marlin's truck finished in three weeks from tomorrow (two weeks total working time), and then I will **FINALLY** have time to work on my rig sometime around the 22nd - 26th, leaving about 3 weeks of work before the round up.

So I dont know how much I will get done, obviously my plans this summer have changed about a million times, so I will just try to get as much done as I can before the round up. Man I cant wait to get started!!

Are you at least gonna put some body armor on for MCR4?  Hate to see plans scrapped, but that is the way it works sometimes.  I know I'm probably not gonna get my SAS done in time, so I'll be 3 wheelin it

Well, I'll see about getting the bed bobbed. I've already got a front bumper and some rock sliders, but I do not have a rear bumper.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Thats a shame Mike, I was really wanting to see some more of your work. Atleast you have gotten SOMETHING done. How many 3RZ's will you have done by the end of this year? Thats something to be proud of. You need to reserve some time next year for just you and your truck. Cant wait to see what you come up with next. Hey atleast you have a solid axle under your truck, I'm still counting pennys so I can get my SAS kit. I'd love to have half as much done to my truck as you have on yours. Keep up the good work.

Beats me ??

Something to the intake side of the engine. Maybe some positive manifold pressure?

That's a good thing cause I wouldn't wish that on you. Save your money and go with a turbo.

So, what are you doing with the manifolds off. Don't tell me that is to get to the head gasket.

ZOOM OUT

Looks like you dropped something in the intake.

Did you trash that engine already? It has only been a year since you put it in there.

You are starting to remind me of me when I was your age. I would only get about the same out of an engine before I had to change it for one reason or another.

Looks like you dropped something in the intake.

Did you trash that engine already? It has only been a year since you put it in there.

Actually it's been since July of 04, so almost 2 years now. I've put about 20k miles on it

You are starting to remind me of me when I was your age. I would only get about the same out of an engine before I had to change it for one reason or another.
