'84 Bronco, 4.9L inline 6
« on: May 05, 2005, 10:56:20 PM »
'84 fullsize Bronco
Inline 6 cylinder motor, 4.9L, 300
Manual tranny (4 speed)
Manual hubs
Manual windows
4x4 works great! (I only know because I have moved it around the ranch, haven't wheeled it
Removable top doesn't leak
Rear window needs new lift motor
Body is in pretty good condition, can use a paint job though.  I am selling it because I have too many toys and can't afford the ones I have. So I'm narrowing down to one. I am open to offers. It is a nice truck, and it is located in Livermore. It drives but it's not really drivable on the street because the brakes lock up, I have no idea why. I've driven it around our ranch to move things around with and it does good except for the brakes.

Make me an offer I can't refuse!!

Ok guys, I'm in trouble.  I need ya'll to keep your eyes open for me because I need this thing gone.  My landlord got on my ass because we got a ticket for having too many vehicles on our property (damn city folk  :maddest: ) and he wants my bronco gone.  I hate to see it go cuz I love this truck, but I am in the market for soemthing newer anyway and can't afford to fix it when i'm tryin to fix my f-250.

The truck has lost title, did when I bought it.  The guy before me had it in his name but couldn't find the title.  I still have his AIM screenname if you need to contact him after sale.  I'm selling as is, could be either a good parts truck or great driver if you have the mind to fix it, which won't take much at all.

I'll take $750 for it and I'll deliver within 50 miles if I recieve payment first, and a lil gas money.

I appreciate it BD, but I need the $$ as a downpayment on my truck, the guy agreed to hold it for me for 2 weeks, so I have to come up with $2100 by then........not sure if I can do it  :sad2:

Damn, if I didn't already have too many vehicles, I'd take you up on this offer.  The 4-speed is a t-18 if I'm not mistaken or an NP435??  And the straight six will kick ass in the torque department any day, but you missed the 9" rear by only one year.  I'll give you a bump for another Ford person.

I believe it's the np435, but I could be mistaken...I'll have to take a look see and find out.  The 300 is one of my favorite motors, but this one needs a little help.  Runs great but I'm thinkin it's a headgasket :dunno:

That's what I thought it might be.  I would love to throw a Ford 300 + t18/np435 in a  Toy.  I've got a 89 Bronco with a 300 EFI on my parent's farm in Kansas.  Probably it's the 435, but it;s still a hella low first.  If I had the resources, I'd do the t-18, toy case, and toy axles and call it good.  I've got all of these, but they are in different parts of the country.

But damn, I love that 4.9!!!!!!!

Id definatly check out the PnP cause they wont bother with the fees and stuff plus they will come and get it. Might even get some money out of it.
