well i havent had many up dates lately but here are some fresh pics.  i have the suspension in and now must recently added the engine and trans next was the exhaust.  what a pain as i had to make my own y pipe that runs down the drivers side of chassi.  all gm factory ones run down passenger so had to make my own.  it took two tries but it is soild and smog legal. i plan to get the body back on this week and hopefully get it running.

well duh, the way i see it the rear axle alone is 8 inches wider than the stock one so i forsee the tires almost completely out from under the fenders.  and btw my buddy that has put his 1ton gear under the blazer in the post is running a 14b and it is the same width as my 10 bolt give or take a few inches.  i am looking to upgrade but this is what is avalible at this time.

I have even test fit a 35 on the front and it has 90 to 95 percent clearance.  AWESOME for someone that just learned to weld with this project.  Hope you all like it.

You're going to flex awesome with all that leverage from the wider axles.  What are you running for leaf springs?
If it never breaks, people can only speculate how much it was overbuilt.

Well finally got the dang thing home.  Been doing the work at a friends house and he had to move.  Not on the road yet but it is right at my house so when I get a free moment I can work on it.  All wiring done had to toggle the fuel pmp for supply the carb.  Works awesome.  Driveline in, had to make multiple trips to wrecking yard to find right length.  Came from an S10 or some thing.  All that is left is to fill with coolant and tighten the trans cooler lines.  Still trying to figure how to hook up fron driveline any suggestions?  Blazer crossmember is too short to fit between the toyo frame rails.

Finnally got it runnig tuesday.   :driving:  After blowing up a coil :slap:  because i didnt put in a resitor (been working with electronic  :pokinit: mostly) forgot that I needed it with points.  Runs great all I need to due is set dwell and then timing and it will be on the road.  Still needing to put in front driveline but not sure what to do with the crossmember?  the stock toy one is in the way.  Want to try and use the blazer but it is not wide enough for the frame.  Will get some pics of action really soon.  :burnout:  Getting back to work on it this weekend.

About cheap fender flare Ideas.  What About cutting up an old Tire And Bolting that under the wheel wells Like the Feli-flairs JCwhitney  sells for like 50 bucks. it will keep you leagal And with some car it could look ok. or build some Rock Guards and Weld A hoop from them to the Rear bumper JUst an I dea You probably already thought of those OR have that problem figured out.

I am in Oregon City.  there is this little place called wagonwheel right down hwy 213 from my place, it used to be huge, but they've cut us off of a lot of land, but it's still kinda fun & full of all kinds of little hills and muddy ruts with deep holes....

My cousin and I went up there there tonight, and it's full of water still kinda fun but our stock rigs were at about their limits going through the water.
