I just got a rebuilt G52 from here and installed it, but it won't shift. I called the builders and got advice, but I'm uncertain if I'm following his instructions properly. I thought I could just post here before I bug them again. The builder hypothesized that it's stuck in reverse, causing the jammed transmission. He told me that if I exposed the reverse light switch port I should be able to see the shift fork stuck in the forward position and be able to pry is backwards with a screwdriver to jostle it out of gear. He was talking about a flat spot or a notch, anyways I believe that's what I'm seeing here but then again I'm a newbie to this. I took a pic and maybe someone with more experience could say for sure if the fork for the reverse gear is stuck or if that makes sense from this image? The pics were difficult to get great light, apologies. Any help appreciated.
