Full Hydro Steering on 1st gen Tacoma
« on: Jul 27, 2018, 09:14:22 PM »
I'm gathering parts and knowledge for a 96' Tacoma truggy build. For the guys who are full hydro steering, did you use the stock steering column location for mounting the orbital valve near the floor or did you do the steering box conversion to the column and mount the orbital on the frame where a steering box would go? I'm thinking on the frame, closer to the pump/reservoir would be best. Thanks!

Doesn't matter where the orbital is mounted like it does for the reservoir. Would just mount it where it's out of the way of the most stuff, like alternator header ect.

PSC!! Not a box it is an orbital!! The spline shaft coming off the orbital is Toyota from PSC also so I just used the Toyota steering shaft!!
