Manual locking hubs on rear axle?
« on: Jun 30, 2018, 01:46:05 PM »
I was watching videos on Youtube of a few guys wheeling 40's Willys Jeeps and noticed one of them had Warn manual locking hubs on the rear axle. I had never seen that. I quickly googled them and found that they are for full float axles. I now am wondering if my trucks axles can be modified to accept manual locking hubs as well? Or is that only a Dana axle thing?

That's awesome haha. Now I suppose I'll research how to do that on my '80.

I think I read somewhere (probably on Ih8mud) that the factory locking hubs didn’t fit on a FJ80 rear axle but I can’t remember why.
