Sierra National Forest Motorized access restrictions
« on: Jun 27, 2018, 09:15:10 AM »
Please consider sending the forest service a letter informing them that the ever expanding closures & later opening dates for trails is not acceptable. Examples of currently closed areas: red , coyote,  ducy trails. Voyager rock campground, rock creek campground and so, so many more. The Forest (DIS) Service always has a excuse, such as too much snow, bark beetle, frogs or owls. BUT the long term bottom line is the forest is slowly being restricted or closed, in the name of environmentalism. Thinking of all the areas & access that we have lost just in the last 20 years, it is unlikely there will be any spring time or any time motorized access to the sierras in 20 years from now.

Please help save the forest for sensible motorized travel for future generations.

Please consider writing a letter to MR Sanchez at the forest service with the e-mail address below..
