Aisin Clutch Disc Question
« on: Feb 24, 2017, 05:57:33 PM »
Since I couldn't get any input on clutch disc compatibility, I am going to press on with this project and reuse the old clutch disc since there is still pleanty of meat on it. Question.... there is no wording on my clutch disc, engine side vs transmission side. They look identical.  Is this normal?  Does it matter on Aisin clutch discs?  Lacking any specific information, would it be better to be able to read the "Aisin" label or put that inside facing the engine?

If anyone knows, any guidance is most appreciated.

You will notice a raised area where the 4 springs are in the center. the raised part goes towards the trans/pressure plate the flatter part goes towards the flywheel.     good question
