Did you make that swing out?Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk
Would love for you to document how you do the firewall tub on the front. I'll be doing that pretty soon myself.
Dana 44 full width and 12 bolt rear. I am in the process of building a 14b FF. And just deciding on what beadlocks I want right now. I will also convert the front to 8 lug I got a donor 10bolt 8 lug front for the spindles out.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So talk to me about how your D44 has been holding up to that big of tires? My new truck is coming with a built D44 and I want to go to likely these tires or an equivalent. You confident its going to hold up?
It's out of a 70 3/4 ton chevy. And there is a difference in the tubing thickness from 1/2-3/4 ton. If I knew I was going 8 lug in the future I would have kept all the 8 lug stuff from that axle in the beginning. Inside is Yukon chromo shafts and Yukon super joints. 5.13 r&p with ARB.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
37's and no problems at all. I never broke a stock shaft either. Just upgraded because the price was right.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No I have railed it pretty hard lol. When needed I have pedaled through some stuff. But people hate getting stuck behind me because I use my gearing a lot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Are you getting another rig?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah. Going down on the 28th to buy a flatbed SAS Tacoma with a supercharged 3.4
Sounds like fun, post pics when you get it. Ext cab or double cab? And are you trading your runner or buying it?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I like it, v6 or 4 banger?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Supercharged v6
Have you consider moving the front axle forward more? It'll likely atleast require you moving the steering box forward and drilling a new hole in the axle leaf mount. Just a thought, i'm on 40s and still running my stock front fender liners. I like the leg space inside the cab and clean inner front fenders.
So made the first run and hit a little mud, the tires clean out very good and the traction is insane. I can't wait to hit some boulders with them.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
