Thank you Marlin Crawler :clap2: for this gracious opportunity! I look forward to more studying and more future "build" orders however this drawing turns out...I will, sooner than later, be creating my first build thread. I bought an '81 Toyota hilux sr5 short bed several months ago (kamp-purr is her name), a.k.a., my dream truck, but it would appear she has been, unfortunately "ridden' hard & put away wet," plus the trans recently failed :hammerhead:, I am broke (as far as $ for my build) and are in the starting stages of making "kamp-purr" purr again. I have always loved Toyota HiLux'es, especially early models! :driving:..so many punctuations. i never was good with grammar & apparently I can't read! I didn't post a picture of my truck! :smack: Good luck to y'all. At least I still get some great parts. Front & rear rebuild kits with some armor.

I also posted on facebook. R150F and clutch line. Here's hoping! How are you going to ensure the same person didn't post multiple times without making it obvious it was the same person? (In other words, how to ensure one person doesn't get multiple entries added?)

can't post pics right meow "file size too large" so here's this: '94 pickup (inherited) w/that dark emerald green (I think) paint, smitty built or smitty type bumper bars front and back, that "back to the future light bar", stepside bed (steel w/fiberglass fenders), 5 spd, 4wd (of course), LED tail/brake/turn/reverse combo lights (which are pretty much trailer lights (optronics), they have to be because of the custom bed, and are actually intergrated into the fenders), LED amber parking/turn signal lights upfront (now I just need to get those wagner LED headlamps from rock auto, soo expensive..), also wanting to do that sr5 dash conv. someday.. oh yeah 4 cyl. and a week from now heavy duty shifter seats from some place called "trawling for marlins"

OK GUYS!!

We have a winner!

This year Marlin Crawler gives thanks to EBenes!!

EBenes was the seventh customer to place an order on Friday, the fourth to post about it online, and became the order chosen at random!

Congratulations!! EBenes ordered a new Flywheel, HD Clutch Kit, HD Shifter Seat, HD Shifter Socket, plus a couple other items amounting to a grand total of $508.40! Your order will be on the house Sir! :turtle:

HUGE Thank you to everyone who participated by both placing an order and posting up! We had a lot of fun with this and may consider doing a similar contest before the year is over!

kyledr, First, BIG thank you for your order and also for posting up! I originally added text describing how multiple posts to this thread and/or Facebook won't improve anyone's chances, but then realized this was not needed as the main qualifier is the order. One could increase their odds by breaking up their order, say an order of 5 items placed as 5 separate orders, however, while valid, should the person win, it would only be a winning of one-fifth the original order. Moreover the person would be paying shipping on each of the four remaining orders. :ack:

While I don't see this as being something someone would want to do, in the next contest like this we'll probably add that multiple orders will be combined into one and therefore 1:1 odds as this would simplify the process for us too.

As it turned out, no one placed multiple orders anyhow

Regards,
BigMike
