well here I am again realizing its been way to long since I've updated this, I guess I'll start where I left off so get ready for a overload of wheeling pictures as it's been pretty much maintenance free since the 3rz swap. so here we go this was easter long, just after my last post

These next photos would have been during the long weekend in may, still snow wheeling but getting to enjoy some camping to

so into summer now, I did a fair bit of wheeling with the jeep crew and some good solo trips. the solo trips usually ended in body damage as i was following old quad trails, but all worth it as its all fixable  :hammerhead:

so here we are to current time, I was pulled over for no mud flaps and some broken lights... threw some cheap flares on and I'm good to go. I have some big ideas for this winter but we will see where that goes

Wonder if any of those no mudflap jeeps have been pulled over for no mud flaps. Probably not :gap:

This thread has lots of good stuff going on. Low lift, 3rz, great pictures. looking good

The flaps/flairs look good. What did you use, how did you mount them?  I made some flairs for the front of my first gen. I used conveyor belt and bolted it to the tabs on the fender. They seem to keep the police happy  :crossed:.

Sweet, I would love to! I have a few other buddies that come down from Alberta to wheel so you wouldn't be the only one

Snowbatman99's vids are actually what sparked my interest in snow wheeling! I would love to build a rig like 22SNOWSHOE's or 89snowplow's but rear steer isn't in the picture right now  :gap:

And I never thought much about the falkens but they look really good cut up, gets me thinking how I'm going to groove the new 38s!

38s mounted, bit of a pain by hand with the internal beadlocks but well worth it, now for some trimming and body work

Those looks awesome hahaha! I have a few close ups of 89snowplow’s tires if you want to see what he did.  I screen shorted a couple of his videos to see the tires up close and decide what to do with mine.     Where in bc are you?  Have Instagram?

I'm in fernie, so about 3 hours from calgary. My instagram is @treedyk, thats a pretty good way to get ahold of me

As for the pics I have 89snowplow on instagram and he has one pic thats giving me a really good idea, snowbatman99 did his differently but the video that starts out with him grooving has been taken down due to copyright

I go to koocanusa in summer with whatever toy I have that summer. Lol that’s a nice drive and you guys get great snow :D

In about 2010 I sold my little blue 1986 22r sas pickup to a fella in fernie. Every time I drive through I wonder if I’ll see it...

Believe it or not those tires work very well in mud and sand. A local guy ran them and impressed us all.

Little single cab short box? had the old style mtr's on it? I'm pretty sure I know the guy that owned it, its been sold and is in cranbrook now right down the street from a buddies house!

I believe ya, if sand is anything like snow its all about having a larger foot print to lower the psi the tire is putting on the ground either way I'm excited to see how they do!

Box bobbed, I still need to modify my hitch as it's way to long but overall I'm happy with the look

And started straightening some panels

Next was the shake down run, had a bit of a get together for my birthday and thrashed on the truck getting it ready for wheeling the next day so didn't take many pics of the work but here's a video my buddy clinton made and some pic's I took

Still haven’t figured out the whole name issue now but something will come to
Mind

Maybe red is the new grey truck that was a red truck  :dunno:

I had some problems with my front locker not hold air, I pulled the front diff apart and sure enough the copper line was rubbing on the ring gear, I couldn't justify the price of a new seal housing and 3.5mm line doesn't exist locally so I picked up some 3/16 copper line and soldered it in, I did need to drill out the bulkhead fitting to but overall it was a fairly easy fix
