He should take it to a body shop and then exo it...and then don't let Stevie Wonder spot him into stumps again.

I kinda agree. If you are gonna drop the money to have a body shop fix it may as well exo it so it doesnít happen again

Or just skip that 32 feet of useless trail.  :dunno:

This is why I am not a fan of ORV parks.  If there's no reason to be there other than to beat on your rig then you push it to the point of damage which is ok if you don't care and completely unrewarding if you do.  If you're going somewhere partly for the scenery or to a destination then won't feel like you trip was a bust if you go around something that's likely to do damage.  If you're willing to damage your rig it's amazing what you can do with them.  For some people that's what they enjoy and a risk they are willing to take.  You just can't always have a clean rig and not skip some things.  :twocents:

I beat the hell put of a rig ans take care of a street truck. No point in building something that can handle the abuse if I'm not going to abuse it.

Thatís partly my point. You built a rig with the intent of abusing it so damage doesnít bother you. Everyone has to fingure out what works for them.  My 4Runner is capable of handling more abuse than I am willing to give it most of the time. Bestgen is working to fix his 4Runner and not just ďbang the dents outĒ so heís not ready to abuse his rig without worry.  Iíd bet he would go around the optional section if he had it to do again. I damaged my 85 in Moab attempting the Escalator and it was worth it, but it also kept me off the obstacle for a long time in my 4Runner because I didnít want to repeat the damage.

I like Mudmasterís solution better for running whatever trail he wants. Focus on the drivetrain and repurpose the body as a bumper!

I have the RTIC 64 and it is big. Can't imagine the size of that thing. They are legit tho. Mine holds ice for 5 days on the trail with proper pre cooling and minimal opening. Looks great!!!!

Hey, quick question did your new sky springs change up your caster any? Anything you would do differently? Just wondering as I am leaning on going the same direction on springs. Thanks

The axle is moved way forward using these springs. I have not hooked it up to the alignment machine.
So far I am very happy with the springs. Be prepared for very limited up travel.
Road manners are perfect now. Off road performance is still up in the air. I need more seat time to really form a complete opinion. It is very low and stable.

Looks like some cool rigs. Random question but how have you liked the different tire setups youíve run over the years?

Hard to beat the Procomp MT2 tires. Cheap and they work incredibly well. As for wheels, no DIY beadlocks unless itís trailer only. Steel wheels work well for Me. 8ís hold the bead better but 10ís give a nice wide footprint.
Iím extremely happy with My 35Ē MT2ís on steel 8Ē wheels. No plans to change anytime soon.
